Business & Financial Management Department
Department Overview
Business & Financial Management assists local districts with budgeting; assures compliance with state rules and regulations in all state reporting; provides legislative and general fiscal information; disseminates and consults in all matters having to do with reports from the state to school districts in local levy and state funding calculations.
This department generally serves as a liaison between the State Superintendent of Public Instruction's Office and local school districts.

SOUTHWEST WASHINGTON REGIONAL DATA CENTER (CIM)
Provides Washington School Information Processing Co-op fiscal and student records software programming to 35 participating districts and the ESD. Ongoing training, phone assistance, group presentations and on-site visitations for co-op districts.

K-20 NETWORK SUPPORT SERVICES (CIM)
Troubleshooting and problem-solving is free to districts through a K-20 support agreement between OSPI and the ESDs. Additional Information can be viewed at OSPI's K-20 Network page.
NETWORK CONSULTING SERVICES (CIM)
Ongoing technical assistance with network planning and implementation.
NETWORK SUPPORT SERVICES (CIM)
Different from Network Consulting Services in that it offers technical support for managing local and district area networks, computers, and other equipment at the district site.
VIDEOCONFERENCING SUPPORT (CIM)
Two-way video/audio conferencing between communities statewide.
