ESD Cabinet Bio: Dennnis Mathews
Dennis Mathews, Associate Superintendent, Specialized Student Services
Dennis Mathews has more than 24 years experience with Educational Service District 112. As associate superintendent, he manages the Consolidated Services Agreement with the State Superintendent of Public Instruction, which includes school improvement activities and coordination of special education activities. Dennis also serves as administrator for Specialized Student Services, which manages a 19-school-district special education cooperative within the ESD 112 region, as well as fee-for-service activities for two additional Washington state school districts.
Prior to joining ESD 112, Dennis was a school psychologist, providing special education assessment program assistance and direct services for children and parents.
Dennis received his Bachelor of Science from Washington State University and his Master's of Science from Eastern Washington University.
