Prevention specialists recognized for outstanding efforts

Battle Ground School District prevention specialists Cindi Schroeder and Diana Nulliner received the Washington State Exemplary Substance Abuse Prevention Collaboration Award for their contributions to the substance abuse prevention field.

Cindi and Diana work to prevent secondary students in two high schools and five middle schools from early initiation of risky behaviors including substance abuse.

The pair was recognized October 30 at the Washington State Prevention Summit in Yakima. 

ESD 112 provides funding to Battle Ground School District in a partnership to provide prevention education.
