IMPORTANT STEPS FOR WINDOWS XP: Pop-up Blocker Settings

« Return to the Employee Login page

Internet Explorer 6 has a pop-up Ad blocker that mistakenly prevents our email spell check window from appearing. This can cause outgoing email messages to be discarded. The directions below will correct this issue. (This only needs to be done once per computer.)

If you are using additional pop-up blocker software, you will also need to reference it's help menu to allow mail.esd112.org.

Step 1: At the top of your web browser...

Click Tools > Pop-up Blocker > Pop-up Blocker Settings... as shown. If these menus do not appear, your computer is not affected and you may skip these directions.

Click Tools - Pop-up Blocker - Pop-up Blocker Settings...

Step 2: Type mail.esd112.org in the box as shown below, then click the "Add" button.

mail.esd112.org should then appear in the "Allowed sites:" box in the center.

Add *.k12.wa.us

Step 3: Click on the close button at the bottom of the window.

Click Close

Your web browser is now configured to allow the spell check window to appear properly. If you have additional questions, please contact the ESD 112 CIM Department.
