Julius A. Wendt Elementary School

The Julius A. Wendt Elementary School project located in the Wahkiakum School District involved substantial improvement and repairs to the original school construction from 1952. 

While the footprint of the structure was not increased, the modernization was extensive.  This included structural and seismic improvements, fire/life safety including fire sprinklers and an alarm system.  Repairs and improvements were also made to the mechanical and plumbing systems.  There were electrical and data upgrades, abatement or encapsulation of hazardous material including asbestos, a new roof, ADA accessibility improvements, and architectural interior and exterior repairs and upgrades.
