Liberty Middle School

The project consisted of modernization and renovation of the old Camas High School to the Liberty Middle School.  It included 89,366 square feet of modernization and 12,736 square feet of new floor area.  New floor area included four new classrooms and one team center, new boys' PE support facilities, and reconfigured administration area.  Interior improvements included: new and extended fire protection and air conditioning throughout.  There were structural/seismic upgrades, reconfigured kitchen, science and 8th grade classrooms and a girls PE area.  Technology and AV upgrades included ceiling projectors with audio enhancement in all classrooms, and new carpeting.  Site improvements included new off-street parents' drop-off area, separate bus access off Ione Street and repaved  staff parking area.
