Fair Use Guidelines for Educational Multimedia (PDF)
The use of multimedia technologies is woven into several of the benchmarks for the Essential Academic Learning Requirements. The Copyright Act of 1976 provides guidelines to help educators apply fair use principles to educational multimedia projects.
Rubric for Multimedia Projects
This site provides a very good scoring guide for evaluating your students' multimedia projects. Specifically, it helps you evaluate a project's instructional design, organization of content, subject knowledge, graphical design, mechanics, screen design, and use of enhancements.
