Kindergarten Transition Teams and School Readiness Plans
Each school site meet individually to assess current readiness activities, status of incoming kindergartners, and needs of the community. Kindergarten School Readiness Plans are based on this research and incorporate existing resources from the school and community. School Readiness plans are individualized to serve each school community.

Clark County Readiness to Learn Consortium
The Office of Superintendent and Public Instruction's Readiness to Learn grant provides Clark County the opportunity to support kindergarten school readiness at five local elementary schools. Each site assessed existing readiness efforts and linked public schools with early learning services, professionals, families, and community agencies to create a Kindergarten School Readiness Plan.
Schools and community partners meet throughout the year to identify current kindergarten readiness issues and to coordinate education and early learning systems. Information on other readiness projects and best practices research is shared.
