Lewis and Clark Web site provides resource for educators
Vancouver School District's new Lewis & Clark iSpace, www.vansd.org/lewisandclark, is a roadmap for the bicentennial journey. The iSpace features links to the most usable, educational websites, local events, an "armchair guide" to the expedition, books and other resources, student work, and games. Everything on the site was selected by a group of Vancouver teachers and media specialists.

• Around Town: View a calendar of events, exhibits, and local sites.
• Destination--Pacific Ocean: Use this "armchair guide" to explore the journey into the Land of Many Nations
• Library: Browse the best in websites, books, multi-media, and other resources.
• Student Gallery: Meander through photos of student projects--consider submitting your students' work!
• Kid's Corner: Review the exciting games and activities available for students.
• Teacher's Corner: Find the ideal lesson plan --there are dozens--grouped thematically, by subject and grade level.
