Leadership changes abound in ESD 112 region
Next fall you'll be seeing some new faces in leadership positions in the ESD 112 region. Several new superintendents have been named to take the helm, many beginning this summer.
In Camas School District, former Camas High School Principal Mike Nerland assumed the duties of superintendent this spring, succeeding Interim Superintendent Dr. Albert Davidian.
In the Evergreen School District, Richard Melching is retiring. His successor is Dr. Robert Corley, Superintendent of Flagler County Public Schools in Florida.
Glenwood School District Superintendent Calvin McRae is succeeded by Shane Couch, Principal in Soap Lake School District.
Delcine Mesa-Johnson, Assistant Superintendent for Wahluke School District, succeeds Interim Superintendent Richard Minarik in Hockinson School District.
In Klickitat School District, Ron Hackbarth is succeeded by Jerry Lynch, Director of Personnel and Operations for the Anacortes School District.
La Center School District Superintendent Chuck Anderson will retire this month. Mark Mansell, Superintendent for St. John/Endicott School Districts will take the helm.
In Naselle-Grays River Valley School District, Superintendent Gerald Schmidtke is succeeded by Naselle teacher Alan Bennett.
Positions yet to be filled...Ocean Beach School District Superintendent Tom Lockyer, Wahkiakum School District Superintendent Bob Garrett, and Centerville School District Superintendent Susan Garrett have announced their resignations. Replacements have yet to be named.
