Youth Volunteer Corps seeks summer volunteers
The Youth Volunteer Corps Summer of Service program provides opportunities for teens ages 11-18 from all over Clark County to come together and volunteer in their communities. The program is run like a day camp: projects are facilitated by young adult leaders serving as AmeriCorps Volunteers with ESD 112, teens engage in activities that allow them get to know one another and work as a team, and teams learn about the communities they serve through hands-on projects. This year teens will serve as reading tutors, gardeners at a non-profit farm, computer refurbishers, animal caretakers, and videographers.
