ESD 112's Public Information Department receives state recognition
ESD 112's Public Information Department was recently recognized by state peers for excellence in print publications and Web design. The Publications and Electronic Media Awards are presented annually by the Washington School Public Relations Association (WSPRA) to recognize individuals and organizations that have demonstrated excellence in the field of school public relations.
Certificates of Excellence were awarded for the following entries: Camas School District 2007 bond and levy materials; Ocean Beach School District Community Newsletters; Washougal School District's newly redesigned Web site; and O2 Magazine, a publication funded by the Washington Department of Health for youth involved in school and community tobacco prevention programs.
ESD 112 maintains the largest public information and communications program of the Washington state educational service districts. The award-winning group provides affordable communication services to schools throughout the state as well as non-profit community agencies. Team members offer expertise in a wide-range of services - from newsletters, Web sites and elections - to complete management of marketing and communications programs.
