Cooperative Purchasing

ESD 112 operates a cooperative purchasing program under which ESD 112 solicits competitive bids and proposals on behalf of school districts and educational organizations. The cooperative purchasing program increases the purchasing power of school districts and educational organizations and facilitates low prices from vendors who are obligated to sell products they bid on to any district or educational organization wishing to purchasing under the ESD 112 cooperative purchasing contract.

How do I utilize the ESD 112 Cooperative Purchasing Contracts?

Step 1:

Review your own legal requirements to ensure the process ESD 112 used to solicit and award the contract satisfies your legal requirements.

Some state laws and agency regulations require a government that is relying on another government’s competitively procured contract to sign an intergovernmental (or interlocal) agreement. ESD 112 will provide purchasers who want or need to sign an agreement with an interlocal agreement. For a copy of the agreement, contact Bernice Sundby at bernice.sundby@esd112.org.

Step 2:

Contact the vendor and prepare a purchase order. Place the ESD 112 contract number on the purchase order. Work directly with the vendor on product delivery and payment.

Step 3:

Fax a copy of the purchase order you place with the vendor to:

ESD 112, Attn: Cooperative Purchasing Agent, 360.696.4916
