Description
This training provides an overview of outdoor, nature-based education for preschool and elementary school programs. Access to nature and outdoor play, including its risks, is essential for healthy child development. Through this course you will build an understanding of how nature-rich outdoor environments affect children’s play, learning, health, development, and growth. The course will help you build an understanding of how to engage meaningfully with natural elements and human artifacts in nature to support skill development and understanding regarding literacy, STEM, art, music, and culture.
