ESD 112 maintains the largest school communications program of the nine educational service districts in the state. School districts are our specialty and we’ve been serving them for 50 years. Although our scope of services has grown dramatically through the years based on client demand, we still believe in the power of personalized services tailored to the unique needs of every district.

Each member of our award-winning school communication services team has a communications degree, plus extensive knowledge and expertise in the field. We’ve built an expansive menu of affordable communications products and services.

Most importantly, our staff maintains broad knowledge of, and sensitivity to, the issues and challenges for educators in the state.

School Communications Collaborative

ESD 112 is part of the School Communications Collaborative, a shared service and resource model that offers communications services across participating Educational Service District (ESD) borders. Participating ESDs include: ESD 105, ESD 114, ESD 123, ESD 189 and ESD 112.

Products & Services

We facilitate planning with leaders to build a solid communications plan that includes identification of goals, audiences, materials, timelines and key messages.

Creativity guides our newsletters, news releases, superintendent messages, web copy, speeches, talking points and more.

We guide the development of a transparent public process that engages community investment in local school funding. Services include: Action planning; Brand development; Messaging complex funding information; Graphic design; Presentation tools and materials

We manage communications during and after a crisis of any magnitude, including media relations, family communications, reputation management, and strategy development.

We help districts shape key messages and communications materials before, during and after a work stoppage. We provide effective communication strategies and onsite consultation throughout the process.

We provide media interview training, media distribution list management, reporter/newsroom outreach, story pitching, news release writing, talking points and more.

Communication is everyone’s job. We provide customized training for staff to ensure they have the understanding and skills to communicate effectively with stakeholders.

Concept to completion management of school or district events such as open houses, community engagement nights, meet-and-greets and more.

We know how important it is to do your research before making decisions that impact staff and community. We have vast experience facilitating focus groups of any size to encourage productive dialogue. We also have extensive experience writing and launching surveys that elicit feedback to help inform decisions.

Our collaborative review of your communications practices includes listening to your internal and external stakeholders to guide improvement in strategies, community engagement, development of materials, website, social media and more.

We engage your district partners in a process to identify key brand attributes and elements and use their feedback to create a powerful district brand identity.

Our award-winning designers produce it all! Annual reports, infographics, newsletters (e-news and printed versions), brochures, rack cards, presentations, blogs and more.

We have a full suite of video services, including idea brainstorming, script development, video interviews, graphic imagery, voice-over services and editing.

We research, design, test, manage data, and provide hosting, live support and training.

We print anything—fliers, posters, binders, banners, swag, yearbooks. Just ask us!
