About MyJOB
The My Journey Out Beyond (MyJOB) Program provides pre-employment experiences and internships to incarcerated youth, ages 14 – 25, in Snoqualmie, Lewis, Thurston, Pierce, and King counties. MyJOB is designed to help prepare youth for entering the workforce by providing work readiness training, career-related learning experiences, and the chance to participate in a paid internship.
Services include:
Services are provided based on need, age, and readiness.
These services were developed in partnership with Washington State Department of Children, Youth and Families (DCYF).
MyJOB works with DCYF Employment Coordinators to provide referrals for youth in order to continue receiving services upon their release from an institution.
