About Community-Based Prevention
ESD 112 is the fiscal agent and convener for eleven different substance abuse prevention coalitions serving unique communities within the ESD 112 Region. The coalitions are comprised of community members and organizations working together towards a common goal of building a safe, healthy and drug free community. Most communities served by the coalitions also have a Student Assistance Professional assigned to the middle or high school.
The Coalitions are as follows:
Connecting and supporting communities in Clark, Skamania and Klickitat Counties to build resilience and prevent youth substance misuse since 2003.
Connecting and supporting rural Washington to build resilience and prevent youth substance misuse.
Serving La Center School District boundaries – with Drug Free Communities Program funding
Serving Klickitat and Lyle School District boundaries – with Community Prevention Wellness Initiative funding
Serving Stevenson Carson School District in Skamania County – with Community Prevention Wellness Initiative funding
Serving Castle Rock School District boundaries – with Community Prevention Wellness Initiative funding
Serving Fort Vancouver High School boundary – with Community Prevention Wellness Initiative funding
Serving Washougal School District boundary – with Community Prevention Wellness Initiative funding
