Middle school boys in Washougal School District are getting valuable life lessons from area dads and other male role models as part of “Man U”, or Man University. Throughout the school year events are planned to support middle school boys as they make new friends, learn new skills and build a bond that will see them succeed at the high school.
Jemtegaard Principal David Cooke worked with fathers to organize the kickoff event, Man U 101, on November 5.

ESD 112 acknowledges and honors the traditional lands of the Cowlitz and Chinook Tribes, Lower Columbia Peoples, Shoalwater Bay Tribe and the Confederated Tribes and Bands of the Yakama Nation, on which our school districts reside in what is now Southwest Washington. We pay respect to the elders and caretakers that have stewarded these lands throughout generations and that are still here today.
