SEH America hosts small groups of high school juniors and seniors for 90 hour for-credit, unpaid learning experiences.
Each intern is assigned a mentor who provides continuous coaching and support as the intern learns the technical skills related to their project. Interns also receive support as they learn how to operate in a work environment, including feedback on professionalism, communication skills, and more.

Interns are integrated into a larger team. Although they do not work at SEH, all employees make an effort to make them feel welcomed and valued for their contributions. Interns consistently report that the people they meet at SEH are the highlight of their internship.

“It’s a business and a school partnership to prepare young people..” explains John Deeder, Superintendent of Evergreen Public Schools in this video about SEH America’s work based learning program!
