LeAnne Bremer, vice president of the Educational Service District (ESD) 112 Board of Directors, will retire at the end of August after serving more than six years.

Appointed in May 2019, Bremer represented District 4, which includes Ridgefield, North Vancouver, and parts of the Battle Ground school districts. In January 2023, she was elected by her fellow board members as vice president, a role she has held through her final month on the board.

LeAnne is a discerning leader who has brought insight to the board through her thoughtful and intentional contributions,” said ESD 112 Superintendent Tim Merlino. “Her dedication to public education and serving our community have meant a great deal to our organization

Bremer is a partner at the Miller Nash Graham & Dunn law firm in Vancouver, where she specializes in land use law, real estate, and government affairs. Throughout her career, Bremer has been an advocate for public education and a strong supporter of ESD 112’s mission.

“LeAnne has brought professionalism and unwavering support to our board during her service,” said Heidi Rosenberg, current board president. “Her thoughtful leadership and commitment to education have made a lasting impression.”

The District 4 director position will be up for election this fall. ESD board elections are managed by the Washington State School Directors’ Association (WSSDA), with school board members casting votes in October 2025. Interested candidates must submit a declaration of candidacy between September 1 and September 16 through the WSSDA website.
