Four outstanding student artists from Southwest Washington received top honors at the 52nd Annual Superintendent’s High School Art Show, hosted by the Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction (OSPI) on May 14 at the Washington Center for the Performing Arts.
The statewide competition celebrates the talents of high school students across Washington, showcasing artwork originally chosen from regional shows hosted by each of the state’s nine Educational Service Districts. This year’s event included performances by local student musicians, dancers, and actors, along with a public gallery exhibition and a livestreamed ceremony.
Among the honorees, four students from ESD 112’s regional art show were awarded state-level recognition for their exceptional artistic achievements:
These student artists were chosen from hundreds of submissions statewide, evaluated by panels that included professional artists, arts educators, and representatives from state organizations. The show, now in its 52nd year, is co-hosted by OSPI and the Washington Art Education Association.
