Many school districts in the ESD 112 region had bond or levy measures on the February 11, 2020, ballot. The unofficial results are in, with 14 of the 21 ballot measures for districts within ESD 112 are passing.
Measures not passing are: bonds for Castle Rock, Ridgefield and Wahkiakum; and educational programs and operations (EP&O) levies for Glenwood (at 50.00% exactly), Kalama, Stevenson-Carson and Woodland.
Bond measures require a super majority (60%) to pass, while levy measures require a simple majority (50% + 1).
ESD 112 acknowledges and honors the traditional lands of the Cowlitz and Chinook Tribes, Lower Columbia Peoples, Shoalwater Bay Tribe and the Confederated Tribes and Bands of the Yakama Nation, on which our school districts reside in what is now Southwest Washington. We pay respect to the elders and caretakers that have stewarded these lands throughout generations and that are still here today.
