SMART invites the community to participate in a forum to discuss youth suicide, depression and mental health. A panel of four experts will be available to discuss topics, including:
- Mary Jadwisiak: Youth Suicide Specialist on signs and symptoms
- Christina Padden, Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, Vancouver Clinic
- Clark County Crisis Line: what to expect when you call about a youth that is suicidal
- Pat Beckett with Children’s Center: treatment options for youth in our community
Community support groups/agencies present will include:
- NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness)
- TIP (Trauma Intervention Program)
- Clark County Chaplains
- Children’s Center
- Children’s Home Society
- Stepping Stones Children’s Grieving Program
