On January 27, 2026, Educational Service District (ESD) 112 hosted its third annual Technology Procurement Showcase for school leaders, IT professionals, and more than 20 vendors. The event is designed to support districts of all sizes as they plan technology investments to meet instructional goals and security needs.
Vendors and education professionals connected around topics ranging from Chromebook device management and school security equipment to AI-powered learning platforms. These conversations help school districts better understand available tools, learn about funding options, and make thoughtful technology investments that support teaching, learning, and safety.

The day began with a Data Network Association (DNA) and Leaders in Technology Quarterly Meeting. Participants took part in an incident response cybersecurity tabletop exercise that provided hands-on guidance for managing a cybersecurity incident from initial detection through recovery. For more than 20 years, ESD 112 has hosted DNA meetings to help technology leaders build relationships, align statewide priorities, and share best practices that strengthen regional collaboration.
During the afternoon vendor showcase, attendees engaged directly with vendors through demonstrations and conversations focused on real-world applications and district needs. Translate Live, Palo Alto, and Rhombus led vendor sessions with deeper insights into specific products and emerging trends.
“The opportunity to share challenges and solutions with colleagues from across the region is one of the most valuable parts of this event,” said Kristina Wambold, Integrated Educational Technology Coordinator at ESD 112.
“These conversations strengthen regional connections and help districts learn from one another’s experiences,” said Katherine Livick, Instructional Technology Coordinator at ESD 112.
The Technology Procurement Showcase at ESD 112 is part of a five-day technology roadshow that brings technology options and resources directly to school district leaders across the state. In a rapidly evolving educational technology landscape, the event provides districts with dedicated time to evaluate solutions that support secure, future-ready learning environments.
