Trauma–informed, healing–centered support for families with young children
About
About ECLIPSE
ESD 112 Early Childhood Intervention Prevention Services (ECLIPSE) provides early childhood mental health support for children ages 3–5 and their caregivers. Our therapeutic approaches strengthen family relationships, support emotional well-being, and help young children build healthy social and emotional skills during the most critical years of development.
We specialize in supporting children experiencing behavioral challenges, intense emotions, or the effects of stress and trauma. Our compassionate, individualized approach honors each family’s culture, values, and strengths and helps families heal, grow, and build resilience through safe, supportive relationships.
Our Approach
We use a healing-centered, trauma-informed, and developmentally appropriate research-based model of care designed specifically for young children.
Services
ECLIPSE Services
With a strong focus on support and treatment, our therapists offer:
Individualized Support
Each child and family receives a personalized plan tailored to their unique strengths, needs, and goals.
Weekly Therapy Sessions
A licensed therapist meets with your child and family once a week in your home, in one of the ESD’s play therapy spaces, at a therapist’s office, or virtually.
Occasional Classroom Support
In special circumstances, therapists provide occasional individualized support in a child’s preschool or childcare setting to help children succeed in their learning environment and to collaborate with teachers.
Family Collaboration
Caregivers know their children best and are essential partners in the process. Therapists work alongside families to:
- Build new skills to support their child
- Strengthen relationships
- Increase confidence in responding to emotions and behaviors
Care Coordination
Therapists work to connect and coordinate with other providers when appropriate, such as:
- Pediatricians and other medical professionals who support your child
- Teachers and school staff
