Exciting news from ESD 112 Audiology Services! 📰

ESD 112's Mobile Audiology Clinic has been selected as 1 of 14 programs nationwide for Harvard Medical School's 2026 Mobile Health Impact Accelerator (MHIA), making us the first mobile audiology clinic in the nation to join this groundbreaking program. 🚐

This partnership, led by Dr. Kalani Cox, is part of a larger effort with Harvard University to measure the real-world impact of audiology services across early intervention, education, cognitive health, and overall quality of life.

Hearing loss is the third most common condition in the United States, affecting approximately 50 million Americans, or about 1 in 7 people. It affects 2-3 out of every 1,000 infants, and up to 20% of children experience some form of hearing difference by age 12, which can impact their language, academic, and social-emotional development

This collaboration is paving the way for mobile audiology clinics across the country to expand access and demonstrate their impact.

ESD 112 is grateful for the dedication of our audiology team and the communities that trust us to serve them. 👏
