Want to get involved with advocacy, but don’t know where to start? Join our virtual Advocacy 101 training! Participants will learn the basics of advocacy, state and federal government, and how they can actively help create better child care policies. This training provides STARS credit for licensed child care providers, and is also open to parents, scholars, and anyone interested in learning more about advocacy. ESD 112 acknowledges and honors the traditional lands of the Cowlitz and Chinook Tribes, Lower Columbia Peoples, Shoalwater Bay Tribe and the Confederated Tribes and Bands of the Yakama Nation, on which our school districts reside in what is now Southwest Washington. We pay respect to the elders and caretakers that have stewarded these lands throughout generations and that are still here today.
