Educational Service District 112 and several school districts in the region were recognized at an awards ceremony on April 28, 2016 for excellence in school communications. The awards were presented by the Washington School Public Relations Association (WSPRA) at its annual conference.

More than 253 entries in 13 categories were received by WSPRA from across the state. The awards recognize outstanding printed and digital publications, photographs, writing, social media, newsletters, websites, marketing and branding, and video programs. Winning entries are presented an Award of Excellence, Award of Merit or an Honorable Mention. “Best in Category,” selected from all winning entries, is also awarded.

ESD 112 received 15 awards for work done on behalf of districts in the region and across Washington and Oregon in the following categories:
