Hundreds of Clark County kids benefit every year from free preschool provided by Educational Service District (ESD) 112. Enrollment is open now and there are open slots for eligible families in Battle Ground, Evergreen, Hockinson and Vancouver school districts. The Early Childhood Education Assistance Program (ECEAP) is a comprehensive preschool program that provides intensive support designed to help three and four-year old children hone the skills they need to be ready for kindergarten.

Children are accepted into ECEAP based on their age, family income, and other developmental or environmental risk factors. Parents can call 360-952-3470 to find out if they’re eligible and apply for enrollment.

“ESD 112 is deeply committed to the continued success of our youngest learners throughout our region,” said Jodi Wall, Executive Director of ESD 112’s Early Care and Education department. “As our program continues to grow, we want to do everything possible to make sure parents know about this program and the support they have in assuring their children are ready for school,” she added.
