The Lunch Buddy program is entering its 24th year in the Vancouver School District. Located in 20 elementary schools, the program matches up an adult volunteer mentor with a student who just need a positive adult role model in his/her life. Buddies have lunch together at a designated school once a week – getting to know each other through reading, playing board games or just chatting.
