Lunch Buddy Mentoring ProgramThe Lunch Buddy program is entering its 24th year in the Vancouver School District. Located in 20 elementary schools, the program matches up an adult volunteer mentor with a student who just need a positive adult role model in his/her life. Buddies have lunch together at a designated school once a week – getting to know each other through reading, playing board games or just chatting.
